SAA is an organization for the partners of med students. Naturally, I joined. I am Josh's partner. Anyway. SAA has an exercise group which meets at the TCC (school gym) Monday-Friday from 8:30-9:30 AM. You get to work out 4 days a week and you commit to babysit 1 day. Pretty good deal if you ask me. I was really excited when I heard about it. This week was my first week going. I LOVED it! You get to meet a lot of people, work out for free, and while you're exercising your kids get to play with other kids for free. No draw backs at all.
This is a picture of where the kids play. In a racketball court! Venna doesn't care at all. She loves to run around, yell, and hear it echo. Jonah cares. He whines the entire hour. He'll get used to it. He's not in the above picture by the way. Here's a blurry one of him.
Here's what I did this week: (I know you don't care. Maybe my mom does.)
Monday: ran 5 kilometers I didn't feel like venturing into the world of spin.
Tuesday: circuit training I didn't know what it was either. Here's what it is. You spend 30 seconds at one weight machine. Then you go to a new one for 30 seconds. Then a new one. Then a new one. Then you spend 1 minute doing something cardio related. Repeat.
Wednesday: babysit There were 12 kids and 2 adults my day. Long hour. Totally worth it.
Thursday: circuit training
Friday: quadstep Basically step aerobis on crack. Instead of being content with using only one step, Tiffin, the instructor, created a plan to use 4 steps. You move around to the step next to you, behind you, and somewhere else. I don't know. Today I looked...retarded. Holy sweat. Holy sweaty sweat. I'm gonna do it again. So much fun. Maybe eventually I'll look like I know what I'm doing. Probably not.
I love it.

Here's one of Venna for good measure. She's going to preschool on Tuesday! She met her teacher today and had a look around her school. She was concerned about knowing where the bathroom was. Don't worry. We found it.

Of course we care what you are doing! Glad to hear things are going so good. Tell Venna good luck at pre-school!
Wow! Sounds like you are at home! That's wonderful! Way to go!
Man, that sounds awesome. I wish I had a free service like that. Guess I just need to marry a pre-med student and procreate. I'm moving those to the top of the list. All for the exercise program.
Venna is still very cute. So is Jonah, even blurry.
