Josh really wanted to take Venna and Jonah to see a Royals game while we were visiting Kansas City. I think we went last Friday night. Here you can see Josh buying our cheap seat tickets. I took this picture from Jacob and Rose's suweet Cadi. We drove around in style (and air conditioning) all week!

Venna and Jonah were surprisingly well behaved during the game. We brought a bunch of squirt bottles to cool ourselves off with. That helped entertain them for the majority of innings. Ohhh, innnings, did you just figure out we went to a baseball game? I didn't know the Royals existed either, until I married Josh.

Jacob and Jeremy wathcin' the game. You can tell from this picture how cheap our tickets really were. We didn't mind. The row infront of us was empty so we could spread out. Being really close to the top was helpful in keeping Jonah entertained towards the end of the game.

Yummmy! Hot dogs, nachos, pretzels, soda, popcorn...we ate it all! Jeremy bought a huge refillable tub of popcorn. He probably ended up throwing half of it on Venna. Venna ate the other half.

The Royals lost to the White Sox. It was Ken Griffey Jr.'s first game palying with the White Sox (he got traded from another team the day before). He played pretty well that night. We cheered for him until we could see that the Royals had no chance of winning the game.
That screen is huge. I heard it was the biggest screen in the world. I believe it. I think it's actually an HD TV. Don't quote me.

Baseball is boring..unless you buy food, go with fun people, and sing Take Me Out to the Ball Game during the 7th inning stretch. (Although it was swelteringly hot during the game the wet spots on Josh's shirt are not from sweat. They are from the before mentioned squirt bottles.)

Although I don't agree with you that baseball is boring, I am impressed with your baseball knowledge. (Ken Griffey getting traded etc.) I also love Venna's new short hair do!
cute, looks like fun!!!
