The Day We've Been Waiting For

I can't believe the first day of school has finally come...and now it's almost over! If it were me going to my first day of medical school I would have thrown up or peed my pants. Josh seemed like he was in control of his bowels when he left this morning, and no one called me to come change his pants, so I think he's OK.
Have you ever wondered what one does on the first day of medical school? Let me enlighten you.
8:00 A.M. President's Welcome
8:15 Physicians Contract with Society
9:00 Biochemistry
10:00 Osteopathic Theory & Methods (OTM)
11:00 Inheriting the Legacy
11:30-1:15 Lunch with Faculty and Societies
1:15 Professionalism
2:00-5:00 Human Simulator & Standardized Patient Encounters (white coat required)
6:00 President’s Welcome Picnic
It all sounds very serious to me. The entire family is invited to the President's Picnic. It will be on the lake. How upper crust.
Have you ever wondered what a med student's wife does on the first day of school? Let me enlighten you.
6:30 A.M. Iron husband's shirt
7:00-9:00 Feed, Dress, and Play with Children
9:00-10:00 Walk around Wal-mart while car gets new tires and an oil change
10:15 Finalize Government Assistance (Don't worry, someday we'll contribute to society and pay it all back.)
10:30 -12:00 Play, Vacuum, Feed Children
12:30 Nap time/Internet, reading, clean-up time
3:00 Playgroup at the wading pool
My day sounds better than his.

I dunno...Standardized Patient Encounters sounds pretty, uh...something. Okay, it sounds lame. But the WHITE COAT REQUIRED part sounds wicked awesome!!

I kept thinking of Scrubs and Ted teaching the interns that lawsuits were bad.

You should require a white coat while vacuumming. Make it more official. And I thought it said 'human stimulator' and contemplated going to medical school. But it says 'human simulator' which sounds very weird, but not quite as exciting.
