I keep waiting for the tears. The ones that come right before I scream, "I want to go home!" I'm surprised because I don't feel that way at all. It feels like elementary school here. You can talk to anyone about anything. Everyone is willing to be your friend, so eager to find a place to belong, and always inviting you to do something. "You want to come over for dinner on Sunday?" "Want to join the exercise group?" "Let's go to the pool on Friday!" We've already been more social this past month than we ever were in Utah.
I miss Utah. I miss my family. I actually miss I-15. Where's the Target? Venna has asked me where Costco is. Even though I miss things I just feel so good about being here.

Venna is getting ready for preschool to start! She always wants me to act like the teacher.

He's so cute I couldn't decide which one to post. So I chose all of them. Do you like our sandbox?

Josh keeps wondering why I take pictures of him mowing the lawn. I've never seen him mow a lawn before. He does it so well!

I had similar feelings when we moved to Indiana. I knew I would cry when I left (which I did) but I knew I wouldn't once I got to Indiana. But, yes, I miss Cafe Rio, I-15 and still drive almost 30 minutes to the nearest Costco.

I'll be driving on I-15 in five minutes. Believe me, it's not that exciting.

Ack! Your kids are TOO CUTE! >.<

Well we miss you guys!! Your Mom and Dad came over for Sunday dinner at my parents house. Aaron tried to get your Mom to cry by asking about you guys but she did very well!!

I love the pink boots peeking behind the Hello Kitty book. Perfect! Josh, way to go on the lawn mowing. You're a real man now!

I know exactly how you feel. I hardly had a social life before we moved away from our family. I love it. You really grow up. Dang-it.

I love Venna's pink cowboy boots...I should get some of my own and wear them to high school. I would be the most popular person there if I did that!
