Yesterday we also made a startling discovery. Remember those cute wading boots Venna had on a few posts back? Well, they rubbed the skin off the inside of Venna's legs. We bought huge "adult" band aids (adult because they don't have Dora on them) so her pants wouldn't rub the sores. Venna screams and cries when we try taking band aids off so we left them on for a few days. Big mistake. When Josh finally ripped them off yesterday a lot of her skin came too. Either that or the adhesive had been eating her flesh. Or She's allergic to band aids that are not purple. We felt so bad that we had neglected her that we took her to "Sonics" to get a chocolate shake. She said, "I didn't know there was a Sonics in Missouri!" Chocolate ice cream makes everything better.

calling in sick
Yesterday morning Venna and Jonah woke up sick (coughs, green snot, sore throats, etc). Josh decided Venna could not go to preschool. I thought she was going to die from the disappointment. She cried off and on for an hour. She kept saying, "I need to go to preschool to learn!" She continued to pester me by asking, "Can I go to preschool now?" all day. I'm glad she likes school.

Later we went for a walk and to the park. You can see the new and improved bandages that are adhesive free. She looks so goofy with her skinny little legs wrapped in tape.

You are so lucky Venna loves school. Hanna screams the entire way to the school that she already got learned so she doesnt need to go!!! I dont know what it would be like if she cried cause I made her stay home sick!!!
Oh fall. I don't even know what that is. Here it means we can start spending a little time outside because it is down to 80 degrees.
oh my gosh. the same bandaide thing happened with Jocelyn! She hated taking them off so we just didn't. When we finally did it was so disgusting!
