Today I ran a 5K. It was a pleasant experience. I had 2 goals: never stop running and do it in under 30 minutes. I never stopped and I'm not sure but Josh says I was under half an hour. I'm a pretty hot runner. NOT.
For a buck Venna ran in the kids' race. It's cool they got numbers. She's on her way to running a marathon. Actually she wouldn't even run without me. Later she admitted that she didn't want to get lost.

Well done you! I couldn't run a 5k at this point to save my life. I love that your little girl said she didn't want to get lost. Adooorable.
Congrats on the 5K! I haven't run one of those in a while...
Congratulations on the 5k! If you're ever planning to do a longer distance (10k or 1/2 marathon or even a mini-tri) in the KC area look me up. I can never find anyone to do more than a 5k w/ me. (I'm not a stalker...I grew up w/ Josh's sister, Jenny.)
