On his 30th birthday Josh requested that I not tell anyone it was his special day. He didn't give any instruction on how to proceed after that day. So...Happy Birthday, Josh!!
Josh only has 3 more weeks until he's finished with his 2nd quarter of med school! Then we'll get a much anticipated break. He's doing really well at school when I don't distract him from studying.
Josh is on an intramural basketball team. His school doesn't have a mascot so that makes cheering kind of hard. What would the mascot be anyway? "Go, Stethoscopes!!" Actually it would be more fitting to yell, "You can do it, NERDS!!" The "season" is over and his team has gone on to play 2 games in the tournament. Josh told me they would lose the first game for sure so I assumed for an hour that he was the losing team on the score board. I continued to believe he had lost the game until we got into the car to go home. (Watching 2 kids in a gym is hard work.) Now his team is in the final 4! It's nice being married to a winner.
