Finland: day 1

Jet lag. It took some work to get our kids out of bed this morning.
But we had to get to the pier to take a boat to the zoo.
My parents worked in the temple this morning so we were on our own.

While waiting for our boat we walked around the tori-Finnish market.

Funny. All the little kids wear these reflective vests at recess and on field trips. Also they were all wearing coats and even some snowsuits.  Jonah didn't even want to wear his sweatshirt.
our morning snack purchased at the tori
Jonah has been very interested in red pandas recently. Lucky for him there were 3 red pandas at the zoo.
The big cats were very active today.

Venna took about a thousand pictures.
We ate lunch next to the bears.
His hot dog made me laugh.
We were tired.
I received a birthday present from a store called Marimekko. Very cool.
