Tucker sat in his car seat or stroller and watched.
He's very accommodating, and usually he didn't even complain.
Venna did lots of other brave stuff this summer including, but not limited to, jumping from the side of the pool-into the deep end-with no one there to catch her, floating under the water (very tricky), doggy paddling, and actually swimming.
Venna spent the summer with red eyes because she refused to close them while she swam. She told Josh over and over, "I can't see underwater if I keep my eyes closed." Valid point.
Did I mention that we jumped? Every time we went to the pool someone informed me Jonah was crazy. Strangers and friends alike commented on his fearless approach to the water. For your viewing pleasure:

Okay, I was wondering what you meant by all that jumping. Now I know. Wow, Jonah really is crazy! Crazy talented!
Your kids are so brave! Opening her eyes under the water?? And jumping off the edge like that and swimming like a little fish?? I'm impressed.
besides the people the pool is what i miss most of all in that blessed town - i'm so glad you guys had so much fun there.
just a thought but did you ever consider goggles for venna??? it might help with the eye redness and the seeing under water
(this is christine miller by the way)
by the way don't take jonah to a deep lake any time soon - he IS crazy
That's my boy.....and my girl!!
Too bad you don't have a pic of Jonah doing a somersault in!
Next year Tucker can get in the water...think of it...3!!!
love ya, THANKS for the pictures
Oh how I miss that pool! They don't have public pools here, just ones you have to pay a membership fee for. Not fun at all. Miss you guys and love seeing the pictures.
Going to pool with you guys made life bearable. I'm glad you were so brave to take 3 kids by yourself.
Go Jonah! So cute, and funny. I'm glad you were brave enough. Maybe one day IF I have three i will take them to the pool too...you've inspired me. :)
That is the cutest thing ever! We was very brave. Addy freaks out when she gets a little drip on her face. We can't wait to join you next summer!
