information #3

Venna spends hours at the table coloring, writing, cutting, and creating.

Kindergarten.
Oh, Kindergarten. Carpool, lunchbox, pencil box, P.E., P.E. shoes, backpack, "staying on orange," art, social skills, library, recess, friends, snack, tiger tail, walking on the second tile, writing numbers, color the triangles yellow, writing a perfect S.
No wonder every night ends in tired tears.
Good thing she likes it.
And of course she's good at it, too.
Venna was furious at Jonah because he "snickered" at her. You try to keep a straight face with a 5 year old using the word snicker.

Wednesday is library day at school. The first book Venna brought home was about Thomas the Train. I asked her why she chose this particular book out of every book in the entire library. She thought Jonah would like it. Isn't she sweet?

aaahhh,Venna. Like her mother!
She is such a sweet heart. We have lots of school stuff here -- she won't need to bring anything!

Awesome posts! That school wore Hallie out too at the beginning. She looks so cute with her haircut. Tell her Hallie and Annie miss her so much and talk about her all the time still. Oh, updated the profile for you!
