kindergarten
All day kindergarten.Can you believe it?! Niether can I.
Here she is with Jonah this morning.
(Jonah did not go to school
he just needed to be like his big sister.)
She looks so tall. So old.
And so cute.
Jonah, Tucker, and I sat with her in line for awhile. Then she informed me that it was time for me to leave. She had to ask me twice. I finally did. Jonah and I didn't even cry when we kissed Venna goodbye. We were a little sad.
I went back to take one more picture. Then I left.
I prayed all day for her.
Jonah asked when Venna was coming home several times.
I nearly did cry when I picked her up after school. I missed her. I think she missed me, too.Highlights: recess, lunch, library, PE, snack, coloring a frog, sitting by Audrey, and meeting Rachel.
As soon as she got home she wrote a letter to her teacher: Dear Mrs. Quigley I love you I am so hape that you are my teacher. Love Venna She drew a picture of a big cake on the letter.
I think it was a successful day. She agreed to go back tomorrow.
This is a picture of Venna "practicing" eating her lunch at home yesterday. I set a timer. She didn't finish anything. She was pretty hungry when she got home today. Maybe she'll eat faster tomorrow.

OMG- She has Mrs. Quigley!!!!! She is my favorite Kindergarten teacher ever- and i've had a lot ;0) hehe Please please tell her hi from Mandy and Jameson when you see her.... Venna is in WONDERFUL hands for the year!

oh i dread all day kindergarten although venna looks super stoked in that photo wearing the nametag crown.

lastly, i can't believe you didn't cry - way to keep it together megan - i can only hope i will be that emotionally stable that day
