Venna has been extra funny and cute lately. She's getting so old. Next week is the last 4 days of preschool for the entire year. Then she gets to go all over again next year. She'll be a 2nd year preschooler and Josh will be a 2nd year med student.
Don't all families read anatomy books at the dinner table? Here are 4 funny things Venna has said lately.
#1 I think every puffy, white dandelion seed from the continental US blows to Kirksville. All yards and fields are covered in yellow dots. Josh was mowing our backyard and Venna got very distressed and yelled, "He's killing all the dandelions!!"
#2 "That scared the crap out of me!" (I don't let her say butt or fart, but I just can't help laughing when she says crap.)
#3 "Are you a mistress? 'Cause you kind of look like a maiden."
#4 I saw a bright red bird in our backyard so I called for Venna to come see it. She said, "It's a cardinal." I asked her how she knew it was a cardinal. "'Cause of the bump on his head."
