quality time spent at Movies 8

When my dad got to Kirksville all he wanted to do was go see movies. (Probably because we don't have a TV.) We didn't mind-we got to be entertained for free! (Note: Venna only went to see The Tale of Despereaux. It was usually Wayne, Benji, Josh, and me.)
I liked it because it wasn't grossly bloody like I thought it was going to be. Tom Cruise wasn't as horrible as "they" said he was. It was interesting.
We went to see this movie for Venna. We both liked it although no one else did. He was a cute gentleman mouse! Venna probably ate 2 buckets of popcorn during the movie.
I don't know how I feel about Seven Pounds still. The first part of the movie was confusing because I didn't know what was going on-Will Smith acts very strange. When I figured it out the movie was just depressing.
Our final movie was picked by Josh and we all went thinking it would not be that great. (I wanted to end our movie escapade on Benjamin Button.) We laughed through the entire movie. It's obviously not a change your life movie, but it was fun.
Thanks, Mom, for watching the kids!
Thanks, Dad, for the movie tickets!

I saw Seven Pounds too, and I feel the same way. When I figured out what was going on, I was just depressed. My friends liked it, but it made me sad.

Well it sounds like I shouldn't go see Seven Pounds, especially since I'm prone to cry for no reason these days. Tim and I saw Yes Man and I laughed the whole time. I also want to see Benjamin Button. I'm surprised Benji didn't pick that one. I mean, how often do you get to see a movie with your name in the title?

I feel the same way about seven pounds. I liked that it kept me guessing---but the whole plot through me off when I found out what it was truly about.

Jamie and I read bad reviews on Seven Pounds, so we skipped that one. Saw that Tom Cruise one--Valk-something. I liked it. I had no idea so many Germans tried to kill Hitler. Benjamin Button was good, but kind of long. My favorite movie I've seen recently is Slumdog Millionaire. It's rated R, so I don't know if you'd go see it. But if you can get an edited version of that when it comes out, I very highly recommend it.
