Stuff You Don't Care About

If the apartment felt small before, now it's really closing in on us. Stacks of brown boxes have taken over. Packing is never ending, but you do get to see your progress. It feels so good to clean out a desk or closet.

(I stole this image from somewhere on the Internet.)

Josh and I aren't very good at being friends with other couples. The biggest reason is Josh has always worked Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. And we're lazy. And we are perfectly happy just sitting on the couch by ourselves. We want to do better when we move, so last night we "practiced." I think we did a pretty good job! Josh has a friend from school and work that can get a sweet discount at Famous Dave's BBQ. We had stuff in common so the conversation was good. We should have had them complete a written evaluation on how we rate as friends before we left. Then we could have some feedback...know where to go from here...

My camera has a huge smudge on the lens. I tried wiping it off with lens tissue. Smeared the smudge. But now the pictures aren't blurry. I don't get it.

I'm totally laughing at your post because Brandon and I are the same kind of couple but we don't even have an excuse such as work. But we did have one really good couple friend and we always went to Famous Dave's with them.

Finding couple friends is tricky business. It's like dating but worse because there really aren't many perks.

We are so similar about going out with other people! How about we be your next couple? I'd be willing to do a survey in exchange for some time with you guys before you move. :) Speaking of, when is that?

You should make a survey form. Those could really take off. Not just for meeting new couples, but for single people like me to use after my yearly date. Hmmm... I may steal this idea. If it takes off, you'll have co-ownership rights, I swear.
