I always feel terrible that you never get to see how much we love and use everything that comes in the packages you send us. When we receive a brown box in the mail we feel like we've struck gold! When we open a box we know that you must be thinking of us often. I have been trying like mad to think of a way to show you my gratitude. Since it would be kind of weird for me to start sending you toys and clothes this will have to do for now.
I'll say it again: our kids would walk around naked without you. Today, Venna and Jonah are both wearing shirts you have given them. They aways look so cute in everything you send. It might just be because they ARE cute but wearing clothes helps. You can see in the picture that Venna is still using the Valentine's blanket you sent a long time ago.

Venna can never wait to try out all the little things you send her. The "grow your own castle and princess" were a big hit. She's been carrying around the princess mirror and comb for weeks. (The soap is long gone.)

Pretty soon we're going to be able to open our own library. Venna loves reading almost as much as she loves being a princess! She has priorities! Seriously, she can sit and listen to stories for an hour, no problem. Thanks to you she has enough material to last a lifetime.

You must have ESP. I have been thinking about buying a castle bunt for about 4 years. You can even ask Josh, he'll tell ya. That particular cake looked more like a sand castle after a tsunami, but I can't wait to try again! You can see in this picture that we are also using the sandwich cutters. I thought the cutters might entice Venna to broaden her horizons. Didn't work. But her grilled cheese sandwiches look pretty now!

It should be illegal to have so much fun with a pop-up book. It has already occupied her for untold hours. When it falls apart (she plays with it so much it's inevitable) we'll probably have to have a funeral and bury it in the back yard. She loves it that much.

She calls it "The Magazine." Like it's "The Bible." Every month it is read, studied, committed to memory, and then mercifully a new issue comes. It is not uncommon for "The Magazine" to literally fall apart.
As you can see it would be impossible to go a day without remembering you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Grandparents are the best, aren't they? I helped pick out that shirt. Did she get her sunglasses? I can't wait for her to be walking around acting like a diva princess. She's so cute. We have the cutest kids in the world.
