Venna's birthdays always turn into week (and even month) long parties.
It must be nice being the oldest child and grandchild.
Looks like this year will be no exception.
We have had so much fun celebrating birthdays with the Brownings.
Yesterday Crystal, Brielle, and Aislynn came to party!
Venna found a cake in her American Girl Magazine that she wanted to make.
The monster cake was cute, and it was fun to decorate it with Venna.
Part of the present, balloons with a pump to blow them up, became the entertainment for the night.
Venna wanted to have a sort of tea party
so we had sandwiches on croissants with cherry-lime slushes.
Meeting and getting to know new people is exhausting.
Last night it was so nice to just be with our old, good friends.
We didn't have to explain our back story.
We know the same people.
You don't have to worry about offending.
We already know we like each other.
Conversations are easy.
I could go on and on...
I'm thankful for the Brownings.

It was a way fun evening! You know you are around good friends when you mouth turns blue from eating blue frosting, and it's totally not a big deal :)
