Utah: week two-the cabin

Oh, how I love the cabin. Or the ranch. Or Vernal. However you want to look at it.
I was so excited when my mom told me the cabin would be on our schedule.
Tucker already knows it's the best place on earth.
My brothers love shooting guns and they are determined to pass the love onto my kids.

Jonah gets it.
Are you wondering how Venna is missing so much school? She just is. We're doing lots of homework to make up for missing over two weeks. Luckily she's a good sport.

This is our "hike." Venna and Jonah loved it. You just jump a barbed wire fence, run across a field of alfalfa, and from there its a short climb to some beautiful views.
We climbed into a cave. When I say we I mean Caleb, Venna and Jonah. I'm getting too old for that stuff.
Venna and Jonah had so much fun we did the exact same hike the next day with my dad.
Of course there was a fire. My dad made sure Jonah had a big stick to be nice and dangerous with. He also made sure Venna had all the ingredients to make s'mores.
And the dirt. They always love playing in the dirt.

I'm sad I didn't take any pictures of the rest of our jolly group. You know who you are and you know we had fun.

I am who I am. And we had fun too. It was so good to spend some time with you and the kiddos!
