I want to document, for posterity, a time when all of our stuff fit in half a garage. This is the main pile.

Then you turn and see our new couches!
Josh and I have been sleeping in Caleb's (my brother on a mission) bedroom. He has a unique decorating style that I want to share with everyone:

When you walk in the bedroom door you see a pirate flag that says, "Surrender the Booty." It looks really nice next to the peaceful lake mural, and the Wonder Woman doll looks so natural atop the flag greeting all who might enter this hollowed space. The white net thing is the head of a lacrosse stick. There are several of these around the room. It must be like a medal of honor to keep the broken heads.

Above the bed are a plethora of entertaining posters. (I couldn't fit the whole wall in-when you go more toward the left there is a shrine to Chevy and Lacrosse.) We've been enjoying the Simpsons poster, the poster with a glare is an advertisement for camoflauge clothing, and you can see he also likes John Wayne and Cosmo Kramer. The eagle statue was a stroke of genius. It really pulls all the elements together.

When you lie down on the bed and look up at the ceiling you discover that the track lighting is holding arrows. We took down the arrow with an actual point the first night, but we left the blunt ones.

Caleb's bookshelf is home to multiple treasures including hunting videos, plastic army men, and a collection of colorful maglights.
I don't think I'll miss sleeping in Caleb's room. Oh, and I forgot the worst part. It's freezing. Like sub zero. Like I'm gonna lose my toes to frostbite. Caleb sleeps with a fan on, in the winter. He's crazy.

the post was deleted because I wanted to add more, but that was yesterday....now I don't remember what it was! haha
BUT, I'm sure glad I don't go in Caleb's room much....and I don't ever recall lying down in his bed, thank goodness! (thanks for sharing all this, Megan). Going in and out of the garage has been enough to scare anyone....there is a trail.
But, all good things come to an end, today it will be loaded up and gone tomorrow.
I always knew Caleb was a little off. You can tell a lot about a person by what they have in their room. I have a lot of dust in mine...
